This is a short film I acted in and co-directed. Feedback much appreciated.

Don’t give up your day job. If this is supposed to be about OCD, learn what it really is, you missed by a mile. Elements are leaning more toward a serious mental illness with hallucinations rather than OCD.
Agreed. I grew up with OCD. There are definitely elements from one’s past which contrbute, and the flashbacks are more memories than hallucinations.
I do get what you mean tho. It was filmed one day as I was relaxing with my friend in the city. My friend added all the flashback later, he constructed that part of the story, so ya, it isn’t a perfect portrayal.
That film is coming later this year, and will be planned. This was all impromptu.
I act, directed was just a random thing. So as long as the acting was up to par, I can get ready to quit my day job.
Thanks for the feedback.
I thought it was cool, kind of reminded of the grandma scenes in Requiem for a Dream. (because it’s super creepy with the flashbacks and music)
But acting is solid, especially if you did this in one day…when you get famous you better be open about being Jewish and not go all self hating on us
Oh…I wouldn’t dare! And thanks! My reel will be up soon as well
